Apple announced a new version of its powerful iOS tablet, the 10.5-inch iPad Pro 2. The new version of the iPad Pro is technically a bit larger compared to the iPad Pro 9.7-inch model. However, Apple is reportedly setting up the 10.5-inch iPad Pro to replace the 9.7-inch iPad Pro.

Apple announced the new 10.5-inch iPad Pro 2 model at the WWDC 2017 event. Apple's new 10.5-inch iPad Pro is a bit larger than the current iPad Pro 9.7-inch variant. The 10.5-inch iPad Pro has 40 percent smaller bezels, The Verge reported.

Like all of Apple's high-end iPad Pros, the new 10.5-inch iPad Pro 2 is an impressive piece of hardware. Apple's latest powerful iOS tablet is available with a brighter display, a feature called Pro Motion and a new 64-bit A10X Fusion chip. The Cupertino based tech giant made it known that the Pro Motion of the 10.5-inch iPad Pro increases the refresh rate and makes the Apple Pencil even more natural.

Nonetheless, the new 10.5-inch iPad Pro model will replace the 9.7-inch iPad Pro. The display of Apple's latest tablet is 20 percent larger than its predecessor. The most important physical perspective of the 10.5-inch iPad Pro is that the device still weighs in at just one pound, Engadget reported.

In terms of the iPad Pro 2 price, the 64GB variant will cost $649, the 256GB model for $749 and the 512GB 10.5-inch iPad Pro variant costs $949. Meanwhile, the 12.9-inch iPad Pro 2 64GB model cost $799, the 256GB variant has a $899 price tag and the 512GB model cost $1,099.

The much awaited iPad Pro 10.5-inch variant will also come along with a Touch bar, a Touch ID sensor, a TrueTone screen, a new 12MP camera and a smart keyboard. In spite of that, Apple's new 10.5-inch iPad Pro will be available without the headphone jack.
