The Apple Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) event is usually the tech giant's platform for announcing new services and software. Nonetheless, this year could change as reports are claiming that Apple could be rolling out new hardware, such as the 15-inch MacBook Pro 2017 and new iPads.

Apple's 15-inch MacBook Pros shipping estimates have been slipping. The 15-inch MacBook Pro 2017 models are reportedly shipping between June 5 to June 7 for the faster option, while June 6 to June 8 for the free shipping option, Mac Rumors reported.

The delivery estimates for the high anticipated 15-inch MacBook Pro 2017 are similarly as long in the Australia, United Kingdom, Spain, Canada, Germany, France, Hong Kong, Netherlands, Italy, Singapore, and several other countries. Nevertheless, if the Cupertino based tech giant is indeed planning to refresh the 15-inch MacBook Pro at the WWDC 2017 event next week, it's likely that the device will come along with internal improvements only, which include an upgrade to Intel's Kaby Lake processors.

The 15-inch MacBook Pro model is said to arrive with a 32GB of RAM. In terms of design, Apple's upcoming MacBook Pro 2017 is expected to be thinner and sleeker compared to its predecessors. The 15-inch MacBook Pro 2017 is anticipated to come in a new gold-colored variant.

Meanwhile, as Apple's WWDC 2017 event is fast approaching, the tech titan's obsolete list is about to get bigger. Models becoming obsolete include the 13-inch MacBook Pro, 15-inch MacBook Pro and 17-inch MacBook Pro models from late 2011, Apple Insider reported.

As the tech company's official obsolete products list does not include these machines yet, but Apple will reportedly add these devices soon. With these MacBook Pro models becoming obsolete, it means that the owners will no longer benefit from repair support at Apple's Retail Stores as well as Authorized Service Providers. But, considering the age of these devices, such transitions do not come as a huge surprise.
